The Grassroots Nature of the Lebanese Protests

Here’s what /u/NogaiPolitics has to say about it:

Hey everyone! I posted a week and a half back asking for some perspectives on Lebanon's protests, but specifically on the grassroots nature. With a lot of terrible viewpoints out there (Robert Fisk…), I mostly wanted this piece to focus on individual protesters, the actions on the ground, and peoples' thoughts rather than promote any misconstrued opinions. This of course also extends to the expat community, who’ve also done a substantial amount of work.

I just wanted to share this here to recap some of the amazing efforts I've seen and heard. Thanks to those who spoke to me and best of luck to you all in the coming days.
